2. Jelly Belly Art & Craft Festival. 
   The Jelly Belly Art & Craft Festival takes place outdoors at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26. Check out the many art and craft booths, fresh produce from Erickson Ranch, and wine tasting from local wineries, including Wooden Valley Winery from the Suisun Valley.  Activities include face painting, bracelet making, games, and street painting with chalk. 3. Mascot Day at Jelly Belly. 
   Join Mr. Jelly Belly and some 20 of his mascot friends at the 2nd Annual Mascot Day at Jelly Belly on Wednesday, August 4. Fun-loving characters planning to participate in this day of silliness include Dinger from the Sacramento River Cats Baseball Club, everyone’s favorite giant pickled cucumber, Mr. Pickle’s and Choo Choo, the Nut Tree’s huggable squirrel. The fun takes place at the Jelly Belly Visitor Center from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Admission is FREE.

4. Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, and Jellies and Jams.Follow the Suisun Valley Harvest Trail and you’ll discover a bounty of fresh, locally grown fruits, nuts and vegetables at produce stands, orchards, gardens, and u-pick farms. Available during the summer season are cherries, peaches, apricots, nectarines, strawberries, heirloom tomatoes, corn, squash, hot chili peppers, almonds, not to mention, dahlias, dried fruit, honey, and, oh yes, jellies and jams. 5. More Jam, with Art as the Main Ingredient.
   Join the Fairfield Visual Arts Association this summer on the first Friday of every month – June 4, July 2, August 6, and September 3 – at the Art Explosion Gallery and Artists’ Studio for Art Jam. Each Art Jam has a different theme, and artists and their guests are encouraged to come in costume.  Enjoy food, drink and live music. 6. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. 
   Okay there is no attack and the tomatoes are not killers.  But rather, the tomatoes are heirloom. More than 200 varieties in different shapes, sizes and colors on display in Tomato Alley during the 19th Annual Tomato Festival & West Coast BBQ Championships in downtown Fairfield, August 14-15, 2010. Activities include tomato eating contest, tomato tasting, gourmet tomato products, farmers’ market, children’s games, arts & crafts, plus plenty of refreshments. Admission is FREE. Tomatoes and tomato processing is the #3 agricultural product in Solano County with a value of $29.9 million.

7. Celebrate the 4th of July with Reds,
   Whites & Blues.

8. Mountain Biking at Rockville Hills Regional Park.  Rockville Hills Regional Park has numerous trails that are ideal for the casual to serious mountain bikers and are suitable for all skill levels – easy, moderate and difficult.  Most of the trails are less than 1 mile in length, but can be looped together for those looking for a longer ride.  The 633-acre park features a landscape of grasslands and oak woodlands. 9. Eight Ball in the Corner Pocket. 
   For many people swimming in a pool is a great way to cool off in the summer. But what about going inside to cool off with a game of pool… or billiards, or snooker?  The Two Cushion Club at 2256 North Texas Street in Fairfield features nine-foot and ten-foot pool tables, a billiard table, and a snooker table. 10. Lynch Canyon Trail Run & Community Hike.  Lace up your running shoes and take part in the 3rd Annual Lynch Canyon Trail Run and Community Hike on Saturday, June 5. Event includes a half marathon, 10K and 2.5 mile community hike that follow a course with outstanding views of the Napa Valley, San Francisco Bay, Mt. Tamalpais, and Mt. Diablo. Lynch Canyon Open Space is located less than two miles south of I-80 near Fairfield. There is a registration fee for the half marathon and 10K, while the community hike is FREE.
